The hydraulic puller adopts high-strength alloy steel pull claws and advanced production technology, which has the characteristics of long service life. The claw seat can be adjusted forward and backward directly with the thread. When operating, the handle only needs to swing back and forth slightly, the hydraulic starter rod moves forward, and the claw correspondingly retreats to pull out the object being pulled.

Work Principle

Hydraulic Gear Puller moves ahead directly by the hydraulic starter pole, so the handspike don’t turn by itself. The alcula- pedestal adjusts the distance for go ahead and back off go with the screw thread. When operate it, just need the handle wiggles fore-and-aft in small range, the hydraulic starter pole move ahead and at the same time, the alcula back off induce the pulling object pull off.

  • when using,the slotted end of the handle is inserted into the return valve and the return valve stem is tightened clockwise.
  • Adjust the jaw base to the jaw hook to grasp the pulled object.
  • Swinging the handle up and down makes the piston starting rod move forward smoothly,and the claw hook retreat accordingly,pulling the pulled object out.

Usage Attentions

When using, first insert the slotted end of the handle into the oil return valve stem, and tighten the oil return valve stem in a clockwise direction.
Adjust the claw so that the claw catches the object being pulled.

The handle is inserted into the lifter hole, and the piston starting rod is lifted back and forth to move forward smoothly, the claw hooks correspondingly retreat, and the pulled object is pulled out.

The effective distance of the piston starting rod of the hydraulic puller is only 50mm, so the extension distance should not be greater than 50mm when in use. When it is not pulled out, stop, loosen the oil return valve, let the piston starting rod retract, and repeat  for the second time after adjustment.

To retract the piston starting rod, just use the grooved end of the handle to slightly loosen the oil return valve rod in a counterclockwise direction, and the piston starting rod will gradually retract under the action of the spring.

Before use, the hydraulic puller of corresponding tonnage should be selected according to the outer diameter, pull distance and load force of the object to be pulled. Avoid overloading and avoid damage.

This hydraulic puller is used at -5°C-45°C and adopts (GB443-84) N15 mechanical oil. Used at -20℃-5℃, using (GB442-64) synthetic spindle oil.
In order to prevent damage to the equipment caused by overloading, an overload automatic unloading valve is installed in the hydraulic device.

When the pulled object exceeds the rated load, the overload valve will automatically unload, and a larger tonnage hydraulic puller is used instead.
This machine uses oil as the medium. The oil and the maintenance work of the machine must be done well to avoid clogging or oil leakage, which will affect the use effect.

New or long-term no used hydraulic puller, there is more air in the cylinder. At the beginning of use, the piston rod may have a slight sudden jump. The hydraulic puller can be reciprocated 2-3 times without load, and the air in the cavity can be removed. The puller that has been idle for a long time will harden the seal due to the long-term non-working of the seal. This will affect the service life of the puller. Therefore, when the puller is not in use, the puller must reciprocate 2-3 times a month without load.
